What does it cost to use Stratus Staffing?

There is no cost to post a position or engage us. Our fee is paid by the employer upon a successful placement. For contract staffing, pricing is based on the role, duration, and scope. Contact us to discuss.

What industries and roles do you fill?

We specialize in healthcare (home health, hospice, behavioral health, dialysis, nursing, locum tenens, skilled nursing, case management) and professional disciplines (HR, contracts & procurement, legal, finance, executive search). We also support staff augmentation for healthcare systems, outpatient centers, energy companies, financial services firms, and large enterprises. See all specialties.

How quickly can you present candidates?

For most searches we present qualified candidates within 5–10 business days. For high-urgency needs or roles where we already have active candidates, often sooner. Our database includes over 3 million contacts and we reach passive candidates others don’t.

Can you handle confidential replacement searches?

Yes. We regularly conduct confidential searches where no public posting is made. Your search stays private until you are ready to move forward with a candidate.

Do you offer contract and temp-to-hire staffing?

Yes. In addition to direct-hire placement, we provide contract, temp-to-hire, and staff augmentation across all disciplines we serve.

Does it cost anything to work with Stratus Staffing?

No. Our services are completely free to candidates. Employers pay our fee.

Why should I build a Stratus profile?

Many of our searches are exclusive assignments and are never publicly posted. Building a profile puts you in front of those opportunities. You also get candid information about the role and employer, interview preparation guidance, compensation negotiation support, and a recruiter who stays in contact through your transition.

Do I need a cover letter?

No. If a specific opportunity calls for one, your recruiter will let you know after connecting with you.

I just applied — what happens next?

Your application goes directly to the recruiter handling that position. If you are a strong match, they will reach out to discuss the role in detail and begin scheduling interviews. We do not share your information with any employer without your permission.

I can’t find any jobs that match my criteria. What should I do?

Set up a Career Alert from any job search results page. You will receive an email the moment a matching role is posted. You can also build a profile and a recruiter will reach out when something relevant comes up.

How do I cancel my account or update my information?

To cancel, email support@stratusstaffing.com and we will remove you within one week. To update your resume or login details, sign in and edit your profile directly.

How do I search by keyword or location?

The job board supports Boolean search terms (AND, OR, quotes, parentheses). For location, enter a city, state, or zip code in the location field. Contact us if you need help.

Should I send a thank-you note after an interview?

Yes — and it matters more than most candidates think. Reference a specific moment from the interview and connect it to why you are excited about the role. Your recruiter can help you with this.
